Also, Sachana Namidass, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, and Abhirami. The Maharaja plot revolves around the story of a barber who wants revenge for his house robbery. He narrates the robbery to the police and complains that he lost “Lakshmi” without specifying it as an object or human. The story revolves around how police leave no stone unturned to find Lakshmi. Music, Languages, And More About Maharaja
Maharaja is set to release on OTT in five different languages- Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada. You know the best part? It’s Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th film, and what’s better than a film by known director Nithilan Saminathan. Ajaneesh Loknath gave the music, while Dinesh Purushothaman and Philomin Raj did cinematography and editing, respectively. The film, made on a low budget of Rs 20 Crore, entered into the 100 Crore Club, making it a blockbuster.
However, Vijay Sethupathi has something else to say about the Maharaja film. He said, “We do all the films with so much fear and passion. We just wanted to do what we had imagined. We didn’t expect this. Of course, I’m happy. But we just wanted my producer to collect the money; he should be safe. Because he has invested so much money just based on the paper [script] and the actors.”
While talking about his role, he shared, “I have a son and daughter. I love my daughter so much. If she dominates me, I always love that. I call her ‘amma’ [mother] and my son ‘appa’ [father], I keep talking to them and whenever I go to shoot, if I have any interesting scenes, I talk to them, I share with them.”
