Write for Us — Paid Guest Post on OTT Alert

Let me be straight with you.

Write for us OTT Alert — and get paid for every word you publish. If you are the kind of person who finishes a show and immediately wants to tell someone about it — whether it was brilliant or a complete waste of three hours — you might be exactly who we are looking for.

OTT Alert covers everything streaming in India. Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5, Sony LIV, and whatever new platform decides to launch next month. Our readers come here because they want honest takes — not copy-pasted press releases, not AI summaries, not the same generic “top 10” list they have already seen on fifteen other websites.

We are looking for writers who actually watch this stuff and have something real to say about it.

Do We Pay?

Yes. Every article we publish gets paid for.

We charge a guest post fee for publication on OTT Alert. Reply with your topic and website to get our current rate. We are not going to put a number here because it varies — but we do not waste anyone’s time. Email us, and we will tell you exactly what we pay for what you want to write.

What Can You Write About?

Thank you for your response. ✨

Anything that fits OTT Alert’s world. Some ideas —

New OTT releases and what is worth watching this week. Reviews of shows and films — honest ones, not PR-friendly ones. Platform comparisons for people trying to decide which subscription to keep. South Indian cinema on OTT. Korean dramas. “What to watch if you liked this” guides. Breaking OTT news. Deep dives into a show everyone is talking about.

If you have an idea not on that list that you think belongs on OTT Alert — pitch it. We are open to ideas we have not yet considered.

What Kind of Writing Do We Actually Want?

Before you pitch, read a few of our recent posts. Not to copy the style — to understand the energy. Our best content sounds like it was written by someone who watched the show at midnight, had a strong opinion about it, and sat down to write about it the next morning.

We do not want writing that sounds like it could have been generated by a machine. We do not want writing that is afraid to have an opinion. We do not want another article that says “this show has something for everyone” without ever actually saying anything.

We want writing that has a point of view. Writing that a reader finishes and thinks — okay, now I know whether I want to watch this or not. Writing that sounds like a real person, because it is.

Minimum 800 words. Our best performing posts are usually between 1000 and 1200 words.

How to Send Us Your Pitch

Send an email to ottalert07@gmail.com with four things:

Your name. Just your first name is fine if you prefer.

A quick intro. Two or three sentences about what you watch and what kind of writing you do. Not a formal bio — just tell us who you are.

Your pitch. One paragraph. What do you want to write, and why will OTT Alert readers care? That is the only question that matters.

One writing sample. Something you have written before — a blog post, an article, a review, anything. If you have not published anywhere yet and you think you are good, send us a draft instead. We are happy to read it.

We read every pitch personally. If it is something we want to pursue, we will get back to you within three to five working days.

The Rules — Kept Short

Your article needs to be original — not published anywhere else, not recycled from something you wrote before. All facts need to be verified before you submit — if you are not sure about something, check it. No AI-generated content. No reaching out to celebrities using OTT Alert’s name.

We may edit your piece — for length, clarity, or to fit our style. If we make any significant changes we will always talk to you about it first.

Why Write for OTT Alert and Not Somewhere Else?

Honestly? A few reasons.

Your name goes on a real platform with a real audience — people who are actively searching for what to watch and landing on our pages. You get paid for good work. You get editorial feedback that will actually make you better. And if the fit is right, there is opportunity to write for us regularly — not just once.

We are growing. The writers who come in early tend to benefit most from that growth.

That Is It.

If this feels like your kind of thing — email us.

Tell us what you want to write. Keep it short. We will take it from there.
